Let Your Faith Arise!
During these times of negative media reports, overwhelming responsibilities and constant challenges to our faith, we need to remind ourselves that God’s character and thus His promises remain the same. When we re-mind (bring to mind again) ourselves, we allow the faith that first established us and motivated us to be refreshingly brought to our minds again. May I share a few times I use to keep me constantly renewed in faith?
When I study my Bible, I’m reminded that God is still God, His character is still intact, His promises are still sure and once again my hope anchors my soul. My faith arises and I can face the giants and the mountains of the promised land that God has called us to dwell in.
When in a time of prayer as I cast all my cares on Him, my faith arises and shakes off all doubt and worry. I have faith again - a solid faith that is confident in God’s strength. I can sense the “hammer of simplicity” breaking up the “rock of complexity” that was trying to overwhelm me.
When I spend time with my grandson who doesn’t have a care in the world, and I let him lead in play, I am transported to that restful, faith-filled place of a little child. My faith arises and I am humbled by the goodness of God.
I keep a picture of myself that was taken when I was 5 years old on my refrigerator. Every day when I look into that eager, trusting face I am reminded of a time when I knew no worries. My faith arises to remember the nurturing of my Heavenly Father who continues to care for me.
This picture also helps me to deal gently with people as I remember we are all attempting to become as “a little child”. My faith arises in the Spirit of God who is at work on behalf of all of mankind and I can be just a little more patient with myself and others. I can still have hope for us all.
I know those same days you have when you feel like you’re in a very large body of water where your feet don’t touch the bottom anymore. Yet, we are still trying to talk and stay in control and all we do is wind up gulping water and wearing ourselves out. I have found this is the time to let my faith arise and to learn to be still and know that He is God. It is then that the water of His will sustains me and carries me to unimagined joyful and fulfilling destinations.
May these reminders refresh you in your awesome daily responsibilities. And may you strengthen the faith of all those God has placed in your care. Onward Christian Soldier!

For several years, I would say a dozen at least, the Lord has been dealing with my spirit about a coming move of His Spirit on the earth. I have been telling everyone who would listen that there is revival coming. It has become clearer to me recently that this revival will be a revival of FAITH. A profound faith, a surprising faith, an earth shattering faith. A faith in God and in every word He has ever spoken to mankind. There will be a strong, refreshing, confidently bold faith birthed by the Spirit of God in the heart of His chidren that will arise and pour forth to give drink to the weary in a dry and thirsty land. I sense that the times that we live in are helping to shape and bring forth that faith in us. Have you been wondering what to do with that strong voice within that wants to cry out in protest to the pessimism and doubt that has been trying to snuff out any faith we might have? Discern that powerful force of faith within you and let it come forth speaking ONLY the righteous words of our Lord and Savior! LET FAITH ARISE!

Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I do not want (Ps. 23:1). I do not want for any good thing, for He does not withhold it from me as I walk uprightly before Him (Ps. 84:11). Jesus has made me the head and not the tail (Deut. 28:13) and I am prosperous in life, as my soul prospers (3 John 2), for my God supplies all my needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19). As I give, it is given unto me, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together and running over (Lk 6:38); as I tithe, the windows of heaven are opened to me, pouring me out blessings there isn't room enough to receive And the devourer is rebuked for my sake and ALL nations will call me blessed (Mal. 3:10). My Father has pleasure in my prosperity, and He is magnified (Ps. 35:27), I prosper wherever I go, as I observe the Word of my Father (Jos. 1:7) and I speak the Word and meditate upon it, therefore, I am prosperous and have good success (Jos. 1:8), for the blessings of the Lord make rich, and He adds no sorrow to it (Pr. 10:22).
My Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Ps. 50:10), and the earth is His and the fullness thereof (Ps. 50:12), for by Him and for Him were all things created (Col. 1:16), and I am joint-heir with Jesus (Rom. 8:17), and He has given me all things that pertain to life and Godliness (2 Pet. 1:3), and Godliness with contentment is great gain (1Tim. 6:6). The works of my hands are blessed of God (Deut. 28:12), and whatsoever I do shall prosper (Ps. 1:3), as I keep the Words of the covenant, and I do them, therefore, I prosper in all that I do (Deut. 29:9)!
