COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: We love HOHENWALD, Lewis County! We believe Community is Common Unity so we wanted to create a place where neighbors from all backgrounds- those who were born and raised in Lewis County to those who relocated here to make Hohenwald their home- could come together to share the unique atmosphere of the Emporium. We have heard it said that Hohenwald is a bedroom community. Well, if that is true we want the Emporium to be the Living Room and Kitchen of our town where the hometown folks gather and visitors return time and time again.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS: It is our goal “TO BE AS GREEN AS GREEN CAN BE”. Please come help us to get started and grow into our goal. We understand “Green” to mean “no waste”. So, with that understanding we want to recycle, compost, employ solar panels, use environmentally friendly cleansers and pesticides and other strategies to be good stewards of our beautiful Lewis County’s natural resources.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT and DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION: We are immensely interested in the vitality of the downtown area. So, we decided to become proactive in bringing one of the prettiest buildings in the downtown area back to life. It is our mission to provide jobs to those who really enjoy the hospitality industry and to partner with other local businesses to create an appealing downtown ambiance.
