Called 2 Zion youth ministry is committed to reaching the younger generation and bring them into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ that will sustain them and make them effective ministers of the Gospel. Our activities include: Youth Conventions, Summer Camps, Lock-ins and weekly youth meetings and Worship Services for ages 11 and up. For ages 4-10 we offer Youth Sign Team and Choir and Vacation Bible School. In all endeavors our focus is to glorify God that all men may be drawn to Him. Our Father's Business (Luke 2:49)
Our Mission is to:
To create a healthy, spiritual atmosphere that allows each child to form an eternal relationship with Jesus and relationships with each other.
To facilitate each child’s growth in his/her relationship with Jesus Christ and the knowledge of His Word.
To prepare each child to discover his/her uniqueness, individual gifts, and eventually God’s mission for their life.
To prepare each child to share the love of Christ with their family, friends, neighbors, and the world through their attitudes, actions, and words.
Our Youth Pastors
Andy and Brandy Buckner moved to Hohenwald in early 1999 when God planted them at General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn and began to draw them to the younger generation. They along with their 5 children, have served in many areas of the church including: Home Care Leadership, Overcoming Ministries, Ladies Council, Judah Movement Ministries and General Assembly Academy. Andy and Brandy were ordained as Youth Pastors in May of 2001 and have since continued to reach out to the youth of this assembly as well as our community.
Our family welcomes you to join us as we seek God's will in our lives, our church, and our entire community! It's our desire to develop and maintain a sincere and mature relationship with Jesus Christ and to provoke others unto the same.
